“Desperate shortage” of food for Thanksgiving Day meal.

Rob Dennis at The Argus reports:

The Tri-Cities League of Volunteers say they face a “desperate shortage” of food and other supplies for an annual Thanksgiving Day meal at the Newark Pavilion.

With a little more than a week remaining, they still need 197 turkeys, 82 hams and 429 pies to serve about 5,000 people at the event.
