Custom burgers at The Counter… coming soon.
Five Guys Burgers and Fries will soon have even more competition when The Counter opens in the Pacific Commons shopping center in Fremont.
Scheduled to open in 2013, the custom built burger chain will be located in The Block at Pacific Commons.
Established in 2003, the restaurant franchise hands out clipboards to their hungry customers, from which you can make 312,120+ burger combinations (according to their website). Beers, wines and cocktails… and salads, will also be on the menu.
Each location will have what they call a Market Selection option that features locally sourced and sustainable protein, cheese, topping, sauce and bun choices.
Side note: If you want to work there, the Palo Alto location is hiring. If you hate your current job and want to open your own Counter, you’ll need to be worth at least $5,000,000.
